De’Von is a proud Southern California native, the second oldest of 5, and product of the UC system.  He met his Queen, Sinclair, and found his passion for Education at UC Davis.  Since 2012 De’Von has worked to increase access to higher education for under-served communities.  In 2017 De’Von worked with his team to create Black Wall Street The Board Game to increase financial literacy and Black history knowledge in a fun way.  After some memorable ups and downs, Black Wall Street The Board Game is now on its Second Edition and is being played across the globe.  De’Von plans to continue to find more innovative ways to educate as a game designer, author, and filmmaker.
